マロンちゃん
“マロンちゃん”がやってきた。突然死んでしまったうさちゃんに代わって。
彼女は９月５日生まれのカニヘンミュニチアダックスフンド。
ソーセージみたいで胴長短足、たれ耳の超ミニ犬だ。
尻尾もひらひらと長く散歩の時はまるで地面を這っているモップみたい・・・ゴメン。
名前は家族全員からいろいろの名を候補にだした結果、
小１の孫が最後まで譲らなかった名がとおって“マロンちゃん”に決定した。
どうしてと聞いてみた。「だって、栗拾いに秩父に行ったとき偶然もらえたうさちゃんが
死んで、その代わりにマロンちゃんがこの家に来ることになったんだから、
うさちゃんのこと忘れないようにマロンってつけたんだよ。」・・・なるほど。
東北から関空経由で羽田まで、それから車で北本までバスケットでの長旅だ。
生後２ヶ月にもかかわらず至極元気で排便もしつけられ餌もあっという間にたいらげた。
人なつっこくて家族についてくる。夜も寂しがらずなくことはなっかたそうだ。
翌朝もお気に入りおもちゃで遊んでいてそのおもちゃの音で家族が目を覚ましたとか。
男ふたりの兄弟のなかに待望の女の子がやってきた。
どんな風にしつけていくか、みんなで決めていく。孫も犬の飼育本を読んであるそうだ。
いつの間にか大きく成長し孫たちが「優しさ」を忘れないよう素直に強く育ってほしい。
